Clockwise from the north, the nine countries are: Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
Note that Liechtenstein is bordered by Austria to the north (and east) and Switzerland to the south (and west).
